Financial Advisors to Return to San Diego, Coronado Island
SCF Securities, an independent boutique broker-dealer headquartered in California, has announced the location and dates for its 2016 National Sales Conference. The event will be held April 25-27, 2016, at the waterfront Loews Coronado Bay Resort on Coronado Island, minutes from downtown San Diego.
Financial advisors from across the country will attend the event. The conference will feature world-class speakers from the financial industry’s leading product providers and investment companies. Twelve general sessions are tentatively scheduled and will equip financial advisors with relevant and timely sales strategies for becoming more effective at successfully developing a financial practice and building a more productive book of business.
The 2016 conference will mark the firm’s second event at Loews Coronado. It originally hosted its 2014 annual conference at the bay front property.
“The response to Loews in 2014 was overwhelmingly positive, so we decided to return,” said Randy Meadows, President & CEO. “We are very intentional about maintaining a strong pulse on our field of advisors and we truly value their feedback — not just about conference locations, but in every area of our firm.”
Each quarter, the firm appoints a team to personally call each advisor registered with its broker/dealer and RIA. These “quarterly rep experience calls” — as they have been named — allow advisors to express thoughts about the firm’s strengths and identify those areas that may need improvement.
