Former Walnut Street Advisors Drawn to Boutique Culture of Fresno-based Broker-Dealer & RIA

SCF Securities announced Thursday its addition of Brett Langer, Keith Bandettini, Will Gingell, and Beverly Cox of The Summit Financial Strategies near Portland, Oregon. The four-advisor team manages approximately $145 million in client assets.

The Summit team moves to SCF from Walnut Street Securities. After the recent purchase of Walnut Street by Cetera Financial Group, Langer began searching for an independent broker-dealer that could accommodate his sophisticated hybrid practice while providing boutique-style back office support.

According to Langer, transition support was another key factor in choosing a broker-dealer.
