Broker-dealer/RIA blood drive combats summer blood shortage
SCF Securities announced Monday its summer SCF Cares initiative — a partnership with Central California Blood Center in which the broker-dealer/RIA will sponsor a blood drive in preparation for the fourth of July holiday. The blood drive will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 20, 2014, at its company headquarters in Fresno, California.

President and CEO Randy L. Meadows recognized Tuesday twenty-five of the firm’s highest producing advisors at its annual broker-dealer conference by naming them recipients of the 2014 Diamond Advisor Award. The firm introduced the recipients during an awards dinner hosted on the bay terrace of Loews Coronado Bay Resort and overlooking the San Diego skyline.

The conference, held at Loews Coronado Island Bay Resort & Spa in San Diego, California, will introduce the firm’s advisors to the latest advances in technology, sales methods, and practice management resources.
